Today’s blog will be a simple listing of some other sites where you can find more information on and/or tools for practice:
Want to learn more about the best ways to practice? Get an e-mail with a discount code when The Practice of Practice is published (June, 2014). To learn more about the book, check out a sample from The Practice of Practice.
All About Trumpet has a page of freebies which contains some helpful PDFs to record and track your practice time and exercises you might be working on. Also includes scales, blank staff paper, practice checklists, scale checklists, and other stuff.
The Connexions site has some very basic suggestions for successful practice. They also have some practice aids similar to the above, but you’ll have to copy/paste from the site then print.
Some excellent advice (and lots of it) on practice at the SingingWood site, including a link to a reading list on practice. Several of these books either have been or are slated to be reviewed on this blog. Stay tuned.
ArticleBase also has some entries that contain helpful information about practice. At the bottom of the page are links to 8 other practice topics.
If you’re like me, you don’t like to be bombarded with too many sites to check, so I’ll just leave it at those for now. Hope you find something useful!
